Swing Revolution: Dancing to a Decade
In 2012, the modern swing dance scene as we know it in Cape Town was ignited by a bunch of enthusiastic individuals and “swing mama” Jeannie Elliott, who brought ten years of teaching experience from the USA. Since then, the joy and welcoming spirit of the Cape Town Swing scene has grown and made a name for itself in the international swing dance community. We’re thrilled to see the community grow again: let’s celebrate a decade of dancing!
